1. General information

The terms & conditions set forth below apply to all purchase orders for the organisation and conference application of ChemIT e.U. - DI Heinz A. Krebs Einzelunternehmen (ChemIT e.U. in the following) for the 6th EuChemS Inorganic Chemistry Conference (EICC-6) taking plane on September 3-7, 2023 in Vienna. The offers on our event portal are non-binding. Offers and prices are subject to change without notice. 

2. Data protection

ChemIT e.U. respects the privacy of its clients and adheres most strictly to allapplicable data protection regulations.

Personal data which ChemIT e.U. collects and processes within the scope of client registration and editing is only used within the scope of statutory regulations. We use client data solely for the purposes of executing the respective order.

ChemIT e.U. does not disclose the personal details of its clients to third parties.

3. Conclusion of contracts

Your order constitutes an offer to conclude a contract and as such is binding.

4. Prices, payment, delivery

All prices quoted on the event portal are exclusive of value-added tax. No shipping costs apply.

Only one event ticket may be registered per client. Following successful verification, event attendance confirmation will be handed out at the conference desk.

No event tickets are sent.

Credit card companies' general terms and conditions of payment apply.

5. Guarantee

Properties shall only be warranted if this has been specially agreed in writing.

Our guarantee shall be determined by statutory regulations, provided there are no special regulations contained hereunder.

Obvious technical errors in the application, such as, for example, if no confirmation e-mails are sent, must be reported promptly by the client to ChemIT e.U., specifying the precise details of the error and indicating the client's address details.

6. Cancellation

If participant numbers at an event are too low, we reserve the right to cancel the event. If the event is called off, the purchase amount shall be refunded less charges.

7. Withdrawal/Client cancellation

Should a client wish or need to withdraw, the organiser must be notified accordingly in writing or by e-mail at its earliest possible convenience. The client shall be liable for cancellation costs and for administration fees.

For cancellation before t.b.a, 2021 80% of the fee paid will be refunded. Cancellation after t.b.a, 2021 will result in forfeiture of the registration fee.

8. Duties of information

During registration, the client is obliged to provide correct information and to report possible changes (name, address, e-mail address, phone number) to ChemIT e.U. without delay.

9. Special offers/Promotions

There is no entitlement to have special price promotions continued. Special offers shall only run during a precisely defined period of time and shall be automatically factored into cost calculations by the Internet application.

10. Validity

Should any of the provisions of these Terms & Conditions of Business be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of any of the other provisions. The parties shall undertake to replace the invalid provision with a valid formulation retroactively which is most in keeping with the objective of the invalid provision.

11. Applicable law, place of performance, place of jurisdiction

Austrian law shall apply. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising directly or indirectly out of the contract shall be the court with jurisdiction in the matter in Gumpoldskirchen (district court Mödling).
