6^th EuChemS Inorganic Chemistry Conference

An interesting and stimulating social programme will be organized during the conference and will be available to fully registered participants without additional charge.

All congress participants and their registered accompanying persons are cordially invited to the reception on Sunday evening, September 3, 2023 at 7pm. This informal get-together will take place at the town-hall of Vienna (Rathausplatz 1, 1010 Vienna, entrance at Felderstrasse 1 – Feststiege I).

As this is an open end event and we are quite close to the conference venue, please arrange traveling to your hotel on your own. In case of a comfortable weather we can recommend to have a short walk (20 min) along the so called “Ring” to “Karlsplatz” (please see map on page G-9). As an alternative, the metro U2 and the tramway station are also in walking distance (4 min). If you have any further questions, helping hands will be available during the whole event.

The Conference Dinner on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 will take us to one of the typical Viennese wine taverns called “Heuriger”. The “Heuriger” denotes in Vienna and surroundings the young wine harvested in the previous year, as well as the traditional taverns where it is sold. Although located within the city boarders, the locations where the Viennese wine is produced have still preserved the character of charming villages such as Grinzing, Neustift or Stammersdorf and give the promise of a joyful evening in casual atmosphere with white wine, hearty food and great company.

Transportation from the conference venue to the Heurigen will be organized by the organizers. Getting back to the city center of the dinner is not organized, please take the tramway, the bus or a taxi.
